  1. How do I create a competition?
    • If you are launching an entrepreneurial competition, visit www.podium.younoodle.com to get started on your own competition.
  2. What type of files can participants upload?
    • Participants can upload PDF, Power Point and Word files. If your competition requests video submissions, participants can embed a Vimeo.com or YouTube video to their submission page.
  3. Do you support video upload?
    • We accept embedded Vimeo or YouTube submissions. Participants can embed these videos on their Manage My Entry page.
  4. Can we send the feedback from the judges to the participating teams?
    • Yes, you can hit the Release Feedback button to send the feedback to the teams. The feedback remains anonymous and does not contain the names of the judges.
  5. How do I create a new round?
    • Click on the Add Judge Round button next to the entry round.
  6. How do I hide the competition entries?
    • To hide the competition round, visit the Submission Round menu and select Off in the “Round is visible” option.
  7. Once a round of a competition is closed, can I open it again?
    • If you extended your deadline and have to re-open the competition for entries, select On in the Round is active option.
  8. How do I start the judging process?
    • If you are ready to begin judging, click on Add Judge Round to begin assigning judges to entries.
  9. What is the difference between a Submission Round and a Judging Phase?
    • A Submission Round is a round where you accept entries. Once the SubmissionRound closes, participants can not submit or edit entries. A Judging Phase is a round where Judges submit their feedback and scores for the entry. After a Judging Phase is closed, Judges cannot edit their scores.
  10. How many Submission Rounds do you support?
    • We support up to 10 Submission Rounds
  11. Do you support competition tracks?
    • Yes, we support multiple competition tracks per competition.
  12. I weight each scoring criteria differently, do you support weights?
    • Yes, on our Judge Round Dashboard you will be able to assign weights to each criterion.
  13. What scoring scale do you use?
    • Each competition is different, so we let each competition administrator set their own scale. You can set your own scale from 1-100.
  14. Do judges need a login to score the entries?
    • After you have assigned judges their entries, the platform sends an automatic notification to the judges with a user name and password. The judges can use this user name and password to judge the entries assigned to them.
  15. Will participants be able to edit their entries?
    • Participants can edit their entries as long as the Entry Round is open. After the Entry Round is closed, participants are not allowed to edit their entries.
  16. Can I message my competitions’ participants?
    • Yes, you can message your competition participants by Submission Round. For example, you can message your Round 2 participants without messaging Round 1 participants.
  17. How do I download the competition data (feedback, scores and entries, etc.)?
    • To download the competition data, you can click on the Download as .CSV link on your Competition overview page.
  18. My competition is over, but I want to extend the deadline. Can I extend the deadline?
    • You can extend the deadline by visiting your Submission Round page and selecting On on the Round is Open menu and changing the deadline date.
